We are very excited about this upcoming year in AWANA! AWANA is a great way to help your children grow spiritually and to get them excited about inviting friends to church. Registration is now open, and kickoff is August 16, so get your child signed up now.
What is AWANA?
AWANA stands for Approved Wormken Are Not Ashamed and is based off of 2 Timothy 2:15. Its two-fold goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. The kids have a fun time every week with games, theme nights, parties, and much more!
When do you meet?
We meet Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:15. Bring them to the Island Room for the opening assembly, then we will dismiss to their age groups.
How much does it cost?
The dues are $30 for Cubbies (K3-K4) and $33 for Sparks and TNT (K5-6th). Vests or shirts will need to be purchased when your child is entering Cubbies, Sparks, or TNT for the first time. The Sparks and Cubbies vests are $15, and the TNT shirts are $20. A new book is needed unless your child is still in the same club and did not complete their previous book. New books are $10.
What do the dues go toward?
The dues help us offset the costs of the parties, events, games supplies, the AWANA store, and awards that your child gets throughout the year.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer a $5 discount per child for paying in full by August 16. Also, for kids entering the 3rd grade, you have the option of purchasing the older design shirt for $10 while supplies last. We will be phasing out the old designs over the next two years. If you would like to pay in smaller portions, we will be happy to accomodate. Just let us know what works best for you or if we can help in any way!
